Take Jesus Out For Coffee

Masih dalam 40 days media fast, iseng saya bertanya kepada Tuhan apa yang Ia inginkan di hari itu untuk saya lakukan. Kebetulan hari itu adalah hari Jumat, saat di mana pekerjaan sudah tidak seberat hari Senin atau hari biasa lain. Entah datang dari mana, sebuah kalimat tiba-tiba muncul. Saya ingat betul kalimat tersebut pernah ada dalam buku Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World - Joanna Weaver. Begini kalimatnya: "take Jesus out for coffee is one of creative devotional time". 

Penuh antusias saya berkata; "Oh Lord, this will be fascinating! Let's have a date with me".  Bisa dibayangkan, apa yang terjadi ketika saya menghabiskan 1.5 jam di Comic Cafe (tepat di sebelah gedung kantor saya bekerja). Yes, God speaks. 

Enjoyable moment ever! I feel peace, comfort & free. No friends, no crowds. Just me, (a lil bit latte) and God.

Don't get me wrong. God speaks in everywhere, not just in a coffee shop or any certain places =). But what I'm saying here is:    

Be creative in your devotional time*. It's fascinating. Make sure prepare yourself before you go on DATE with Him. I'm telling you, your Someone Special is super duper ROMANTIC. Trust me^^

*silakan loh kalo mau membawa serta iPad, iPod, iPhone, BB, Laptop, dll. But, bringing the bible is a must.
